Oil in Water Analyzers

The Sigrist OilGuard, Oil-in-Water Monitor, operates on the proven UV fluorescence measuring principle. Aromatic hydrocarbons possess the ability to emit visible light when radiated with UV light. This makes it possible to detect oil-in-water in the low ppm range even if the water is turbid. Note the system can be provided with certifications for Hazardous areas – Class 1 Div. 1 & 2 & EEx-p IIC.

Oil trace monitor for water treatment.

The instrument is used for monitoring oil traces in raw, surface, process and waste water. As a result of the non-contact free-fall measurement, there are no reading falsifications arising from window soiling and there is an extremely low need for maintenance. The instrument’s factory setting is calibrated with 16 EPA-PAH standard. The OilGuard 2 W can be recalibrated by the customer with a secondary standard (solid reference) which allows an exact recalibration without 16 EPA-PAH.

The OilGuard works on the fluorescence principle. The design uses a free-fall measuring system that eliminates contact between the sample and the flow cell. Adoptions to various types of oil are carried out by means of calibration curves, a control glass makes it easy to check or recalibrate the instrument.

Oil Trace Monitor for Mineral Oils for hazardous Areas.

The OilGuard works on the fluorescence principle. The design uses a free-fall measuring system that eliminates contact between the sample and the flow cell. Adoptions to various types of oil are carried out by means of calibration curves, a control glass makes it easy to check or recalibrate the instrument. A pressurized-enclosure version is offered for areas requiring explosion protection.

4. OilGuard Ex M
Oil Trace Monitor for oil discharge monitoring.

The OilGuard works on the fluorescence principle. The design uses a free-fall measuring system that eliminates contact between the sample and the flow cell. Adoptions to various types of oil are carried out by means of calibration curves, a control glass makes it easy to check or recalibrate the instrument. A pressurized-enclosure version is offered for areas requiring explosion protection and the version Ex M complies with the IMO standard MEPC.107(49).
